PSU Electrical Engineer (semiconductors and optics) grad here. Make sure you have at least two internships before graduating and aim to keep your GPA above 3.0 at least 2.8 before graduating. Make sure you take your FE after graduating too. A ton of engineering students seem to have parents that are engineers that tell them pointers like this way ahead of time and help them out along the way. I did not.. Also, have fun but don't party too much you are there to gain experience in your field of study not just life itself. Not to be discouraging but EE had the highest suicide rate of all majors at PSU when I went. But if you make it through you can solve quite literally anything..

Do you have any more insight on drexel? I also got into there, but with the higher acceptance rate combined with the cost, it didn’t seem worth it at all. Is the co-op really that much above things offered at state schools?
