In Sonic X (2003), Chris Thorndyke, a child who has famous celebrity parents, is rich, lives in a mansion, and frequently hangs out with super-powered animal people, is supposedly a character that we should feel sorry for. This is a reference to the fact that Chris is an entitled piece of shit.
