The mental benefits of walking are just as important as the physical

Lately, I’ve been making an effort to move more and increase my daily steps and I can’t believe how much of a difference I feel already. It’s not just about fitness or burning calories.

Once I hit around 3k- 4k steps, it’s like something shifts. The sluggish, low-energy feeling disappears, and i feel more energized, clear-headed, and just in a better mood overall. And honestly, there’s nothing better than getting a head start in the morning, hitting half your step goal early, and knowing you have the whole day ahead of you. That sense of accomplishment first thing in the morning? Unmatched.

We always hear about the physical health benefits of walking, which are amazing but i want to give credit to what it does for the mind. If you’re feeling stuck, tired, or unmotivated, just walk 🫶🏼
