Boom guy

did i miss something? everyone here is always talking about how pam cheated on jim with the boom guy. is that ever even implied? with certain shots i can see how it looks like he has a crush on pam or whatever but is it that crazy that they can just be friends?? i can definitely tell you your friends can have a one sided crush on you. it doesn’t rly seem like pam reciprocates and a girl and guy character can just be friends. i’m pretty sure the show mentions too that both couples hung out together. it’s definitely possible that i just missed something or don’t remember so fs correct me if im wrong but i rly just don’t understand
