Waves of stinging after tattoo

yesterday I went and got a tattoo. And it felt normal. When I got home after taking a shower to wash it, I noticed an interesting stinging pain. It's not continuous, it comes in short maybe 15 sec waves. The tattoo only took about 2.5-3 hours. It’s happened about 3-5 times since approx 2:15 a, it’s approx 7a am now. This isn’t my first one as I’ve had others with color as well. As you can see on my neck. Anyway will I be ok? Will it heal good?
