NOT THE BEST. NOT THE BIGGEST. The most influential. It feels like “new upcoming R&B artist” nowadays is just code for “new Brent Faiyaz clone”. I haven’t seen someone’s signature vocal style, production and subject matter being catted this much in the last 10 years. But hey, maybe i’m just ignorant.😅
