How does a 3.86 cGPA sound?

My first year of university hasn’t been the greatest and I’m looking at 2 C+’s right now. I’m going to retake those courses and end A+ for both. As well, work towards maintaining majority A+ grades in all my courses for the next 3 years (fall/winter semesters only). My cGPA is going to be around 3.86-3.87. If I do take summer semesters too, I assume this will be higher, unless certain med schools do not count summer sessions. How does my cGPA impact my chances of getting admitted? If I were to involve myself greatly in extracurriculars and community activities with a cGPA like so, am I likely to be accepted?

I certainly do have the skills to succeed in my courses and personally did not find the content in my first year challenging by any means for that to be the reason for my poor performance. I believe I should be capable of achieving excellent grades for the upcoming years, but I am interested in knowing how much of an impact my first year will have on my admission to a medical school.
