Karl Otto Alberty appreciation post

I know you guys know this guy's face, lol he pretty much played every German WW2 soldier antagonist during the 60's from The Great Escape to Kelly's Heroes, although in KH he turned out to be more of a good guy. He played the German who escorts Big X played by Richard Attenborough off of the prison camp to be executed at the end.

I always felt that this guy didn't get the credit he deserved for playing a German soldier so much during controversial times, not even that long after WW2 ended. Great Escape was shot in 63', not even 20 years after the war was over.

It wasn't cool back then to play a German and Karl Otto Alberty knocked it out of the park everytime. Do yourselves a favor and check this man out.
