Ryoshu during the intervallo

Ryoshu is saying that 1.) sweepers arent some sort of monsters but are humans, turned into those.

And 2.) shes paralelling them to bloodfiends, as they use people or organic matter as fuel. Almost the same sin affinity to bloodfiends with lust, pride and wrath. Just mainly using wrath.

I havent played ruina, but im pretty sure its not common knowledge in the city that sweepers were former humans right?
