kittens still scared of me😢 pls help

just looking for some advice about my two kittens!

white is maisie and tabby is daisy🥰. i got them at 8 weeks old and they’re just coming up to 12 weeks,

i’m just looking for advice on how i can socialise them and get them to open up to me? they’re extremely playful and love to play with their toys etc and will take treats from my hand but i’m not sure if they trust me or not? like, when they’re tired or even during the night, they’ll sleep with me and let me stroke them etc but when it’s during the day, if i go towards them, they run off and won’t let me stroke them, they seem scared when i walk past/in the room.., when i put my hand out they get scared.. so not really sure what to do😬
