Guys, I need your help. Please be brutally honest.
I'm a 2025 grad currently going through campus placements, and it's been a tough ride. Most companies that have come and gone have rejected me due to CGPA criteria. Honestly, I've completely lost faith in this system—it feels like a dumb "survival of the fittest" game, and I can't help but feel incompetent.
Then came the mass recruiters. I didn't apply for TCS because I just couldn't bring myself to study aptitude (weird, right?). But I did apply for Infosys because it was mandatory for students who skipped TCS. I gave the exam half-heartedly, and somehow, I got selected for their 3.6 LPA offer. Maybe it was my communication skills, or perhaps the flashy project I copied from the internet caught their attention.
Anyway, that's the context (sorry for the long backstory), but here's my question:
Now that I have this 3.6 LPA offer, how can I grow it into something like 9–10 LPA or more?
Here’s where I stand currently:
- I know basic DSA (nothing advanced).
- I have little to no experience in full-stack development.
- I enjoy backend development and want to pursue it further.
I know it’s late to start, but I’m willing to work hard (a lot, if needed). Please guide me on the best path to transition from here to a better-paying role in the future.
Help a fellow junior out!
