Is it weird to call your adult daughter names like "sweetie" and "honey"?

I have a daughter (technically step daughter but I'm the only dad in her life since she was 4 and she's now 26) and I've always called her things like "sweetheart". I guess I just never stopped calling her that stuff. All thru her teen years into her adulthood, I've been calling her that stuff.

Is it weird or improper? If you observed that, would you think it weird?

She isn't uncomfortable by it at all. She is used to it cuz it's what I've always called her for her whole life. But sometimes I wonder if other fathers or adult daughters still call their kid such nicknames.
