How safe is Xupermask?
I just ordered a Xupermask. The site has a pretty gnarly disclaimer, which I’ll quote below. So I’m wondering, does this provide no real protection to the wearer, and just reduces the spread of droplets from the wearer, like a cloth mask? Or does this provide some protection to the wearer, like a KN95 mask? I looked up HEPA filters, and they are supposedly quite capable of filtering out the virus, which is 1.125 micron. But the disclaimer acts like it’s no better than a cloth mask. If I go on a flight, I’m wondering if I’m better off wearing a KN95 mask.
