Working on a Story and ACCIDENTALLY MADE IT SAPPHIC 😭😭😭

I'm working on a mediaeval fantasy. It requires a LOT of world building, so it's nowhere near ready for the public eye yet, but I have been writing down the more emotion heavy scenes (as opposed to the plot heavy ones), as it is fun. And I'm realising, the Female Lead has so so so much chemistry with one of the Female Antagonists. Them being lovers doesn't really fit the plot, but My God, they have SO much more chemistry than the original couple. They've been serving delicious enemies to lovers gold. And now I don't know what to do.

Should I try changing the entire plot to make them a thing? Or should I just keep the chemistry as is and continue with the main storyline anyway, as was planned?
