Carry-on: Backpack vs Suitcase.

Hello there. I've been meaning to get a new travel bag, and I thought about getting a backpack instead of a suitcase. I don't know why, it just seems like it makes more sense to me at the moment. I can just put it on my back and carry on (no pun intended), a suitcase needs to be pulled along, even if wheels make it easier. There are downsides however, the obvious one being that it will be more physically demanding, and your stuff might get squished and creased. It's also not as secure as a suitcase.

Any people here who've used both? I'd love to know what you think.
