Can someone explain why the Abby and Owen sex scene is so criticised?

I have no opinions on this scene. I know that Abby is a muscle bound woman and unrealistic (but not impossible), but other than that I have no other context. Why is the sex scene so memed and criticised. Is it that most people are just grossed out by the whole thing?

I don't care about spoilers. I've only played the first game and loved it but my excitement and care for spoilers went away after learning some of the leaks.
