faces, colors, and a noob

hi! i did some research tonight - i’ve always seen colors around people’s heads. only heads. i questioned the existence of auras for a while but the colors i see change throughout the day, and i don’t see them around strangers. this week was the first time i saw a color around a specific structure, which made no sense within the aura theory (according to my limited knowledge). i also see colors around animals sometimes. i realized tonight that i’m not seeing auras, but my color coded visual perception of other people’s emotions. sometimes my emotions get mixed in too. so the structure had colors because i was aware of what feelings my fiancée had attached to it, even though i had never been there before. with animals, it’s more about how they make me feel & how they respond to my contact. i don’t see strangers’ colors because i’m autistic and never catch people’s facial or emotional expressions unless i actively try to. idk if anyone cares but i thought it was cool :) reference my messy synesthesia map if you want! <3
