"The only way to not feel trapped is to have nothing."

Man, when Nate said this to the deceased man it hit me like a ton of bricks. I personally get it 1000%. On the one hand Nate does love Maya (maybe not so much Lisa), but on the other he has his major commitment issues.

The man was correct - Nate was "So fucking trapped" He stayed in that relationship out of obligation and "doing the right thing".

It's a terrific episode, I love when they're driving together at night with their total freedom. Perfect contrast to the trajectory that one's life can take.

I think it's my favorite line in the entire series.
