Does anyone else get stuck prepping for a new game and never actually start one?
I don't know if this is just me and my ADHD, but every time I get excited to play a new challenge or a storyline I've come up with, I'll spend the next few days creating the Sim(s) and build(s) to start it... then once I'm close to done with the prep, I'll suddenly get the urge to play something else, drop what I'm doing and start working on that instead.
It goes on and on like this. I have so many half-styled Sims and half-completed builds for legacies, black widow and 100 baby challenges, but then I'll never actually finish them and click play because I keep getting distracted setting up an off-the-grid or super Sim.
When I do actually get decently far in a save, I'll also end up dropping it 75% of the time when I need to go and create a new build or add more Sims to my save. (The other 25% of the time I drop a save it's because of game breaking bugs like the Finchwick Fair stealing my llama.)
I know it's partly my own fault. I don't like using stuff off the gallery, which would make the process a lot faster, but I want to use my own Sims and builds, not someone else's.
Am I the only one like this?
