Kink in new kitchen faucet supply line!
I installed a new Kohler Sous kitchen faucet and one of the supply lines got a kink in it. It was too short to put a loop in it and when I was tightening the compression fitting, the line twisted and fully kinked. I disconnected it, straightened it out, and reconnected it. It seems to run fine, but there's still a bit of a warped spot in the hose. Is this going to be a problem? A question for all you pros... do you see these light-duty black mesh supply lines fail very often. Have I shortened its lifespan by allowing it to kink like that? Or am I just being paranoid?
