Micrologix 1100 187h fault

We have an 1100 series B, was running fine until yesterday, and faulted 187h (mismatched expansion card fault). We have tried downloading the program to a new 1100 and adding the cards back in (slot 1- IT4 thermocouple, slot 2- OW8 output card). Everytime we add the cards, the processor faults as soon as we switch to RUN mode. Does anybody have any advice?
