PA School and Wedding Planning

Hey guys, I’m starting PA school this september and my boyfriend wants to propose to me this summer. However, I told him (months ago) that I would prefer for him to propose early in the summer so that I could use these months to plan before school starts. It’s now the middle of July and he feels like I’m rushing him. Has anyone planned a wedding while in PA school? If so how was it? Am I being irrational?
