Should I retake my English (NBE3U) Credit to get into University?
Hello everyone, I'm not sure the way posts are formatted here, but here's my question. Should I retake my English credit? For people who don't know NBE3U is the new English course and is mandatory to graduate. I'm in grade 11 (I can't find any sub for grade 11's or high school as a whole) I have an 89 in Physics (Uni), an 87 in Fitness, a 92 in Bio (Uni) and a 76 in the First Nations English (NBE3U). I want to become a Mechanical Engineer, but I took all the Sciences because I'm not 100% sure yet (Chem next sem with functions). Waterloo, my first choice University, says that I need an average in the high 80s to low 90s to be looked at as a possible applicant and this credit really pulls my average so far down. I want to early apply and they'll see my average containing my Grade 11 English mark, and I'm really scared that they'll pass me over because of this, should I retake my credit over the summer or online because I'm doing early applications?
Tysm for reading this and for any advice.
