Buying a home, where do I start?

I am so over renting. I have never had a good experience. Anyway... I want to buy a house my partner and I make about $100,000 combined. We don't have much debt, they have a fairly large car payment and some student loans. I only have credit cards and I owe less than 1000 on them. They make 70% of the income. We are looking in the Ralston area along 72nd ish

I think that we are financially okay enough to do it but I don't know where to start.

Edit: Also, does anyone know about Rocket Mortgage? I've seen that anound as well...
