How do I completely turn off my headlights while 2016 Murano is running at night?

I'm wanting to go to a drive-in with my wife tonight and I've only had this car for a few months so I don't know all the features yet, but I've noticed whenever I turn off the autolight feature in my car while it's running (at night or in my parking garage) a second set of LED lights turn on in place of the headlights. What on earth is this feature for? How do I make it stop?

We're going to be really unpopular at the drive-in if we can't shut off our headlights at all...
