My neck is getting jacked!

I've been hiking a few times a week for about 5 months now. I am at 168 miles with NV and I noticed today that I don't even realize I'm wearing my helmet anymore most of the time now! I have an equal amount of weight for my calendars and my whole bump helmet comes out to about 5 and 1/2 lb. Where I've really noticed how much stronger my neck has gotten is when I'm looking down at the ground when hiking to pick my line, I used to feel a lot of strain on my neck from both the nvgs and the counterweight, but now I noticed I was looking down for quite a bit of time the other night and didn't even realize the weight was there. The 4D pads make it really comfortable and wearing my rig for about an hour and a half three to four times a week has really got my neck strength up.
