Naps with 3mo old

FTM w/ 3mo old baby. My cousin also had her first just 2 weeks after and she has a super strict nap schedule.

Ive been letting my baby let me know when she is tired. I look for her cues before she cries and rock her, sometimes transfer is successful other times isn’t - im OK with that - soaking in all the contact naps I can before my maternity leave is done and I have to go back to work. Im not BF so its like my bonding with her, or at least thats how I feel/see it. Anyways … so I dont really have a nap time schedule for her. I don’t even keep track of nap times or amount of naps. I feel like I should because social media is obsessed with wake windows and independent sleeping. But why would I make my baby sleep if shes not tired - ive tried and sometimes she just cries and stops crying when we do tummy time/play mat time.

IDK!! Just starting to worry if I should be doing that because of when she starts getting older?

Just fyi - She sleeps well through the night her avrg is like 7-7.5hrs
