NBA 2k24 current and new gen

Hi everybody, so for Christmas today I received a disc copy of NBA 2k24 for Xbox One. However I play on the Series X.

Once I insert the disc into the series x, will it upgrade to the next gen version of the game with the city? Or will it stay as the current gen game with the neighbourhood?
