Karen Read will go to prison for the maximum sentence.

This is my prediction and I am more confidant than ever. Points…

1. Trial 1 prosecution was pretty lousy, too many witnesses, lack of visual graphics, some less than ideal witnesses, etc. Yet they still got 9 of 12 jurors to vote guilty for manslaughter.

2. Brennan has already demonstrated the second trial will undoubtedly be tighter, better experts, more experts, etc.

3. The defense can only get weaker. They threw everything they had against the wall almost none of it stuck. Their experts other than ARCAA are very weak, almost embarrassing. I’d actually be surprised if they end up putting Richard Greene on stand again.

4. Therefore the odds of her being found not guilty by 12 jurors are extraordinarily low. There is of course a chance of another mistrial, all it takes is one stubborn juror. Which leads to point 5.

5. The commonwealth will never stop trying this case until there is a verdict. That’s what they said, and I believe them. There is a dead police officer. If it takes 3 trials or 5 or 10, eventually she’ll be in prison.
