Cowpanystore.com scam

Scrolling through tiktok, it is not uncommon to come across advertisement for various fashion jewellry. However, I came across an ad the other day that did not seem right.

It was a website called cowpanystore.com that was marketing its products as "Premium, hand-crafted, Jewelry made in Italy from high level jewelers." And as you could guess, the price of the jewellry was extremely expensive, ranging from 500 dollars and upwards.

But looking deeper into the website, their products were not what they claimed to be. In fact, the products were cheap fashion jewellry from China found on aliexpress.com. On aliexpress, where they got the products and product images from, the products were sold for 1 to 6 dollars. On their website however, they were selling the products for 500 dollars upwards.

I do not have anything against dropshipping stores. However, to falsely claim your products are "Premium, hand-crafted, Jewelry made in Italy from high level jewelers ", just so that you can sell them for 100 times the price, is a scam. And awareness should be spread about this kind of scams.
