What happened to MOS POD? Trying too hard and losing its soul
Look, I used to love MOS. The first few episodes? Had soul. Had flow. Had chemistry. Now it’s just Naina trying way too hard to be the “main character” while the podcast force-feeds this idea of relatability down our throats. You can feel the subtle competition between Naina and Sakshi. Naina constantly overtakes her, pushing this “I’m older, I’m wiser” energy, but honestly? Blah. It doesn’t add depth, it just kills the vibe. And then there’s the guest episodes. Brutal. Ankush? Awkward. Sejal? Awkward. Every single guest? Turned into a weird versus situation with Naina.
We wanted a podcast with banter, perspective, and real conversations, not a one-woman show with tension and scripted relatability. Bring back the original format, or at least stop making guest episodes feel like a hostage situation.
What happened to just discussing topics and sharing perspectives? That’s how MOS started. Sakshi and Naina bouncing off each other, bringing their own takes, and actually having a conversation. Now? The second they bring in a guest, the format completely changes. Instead of including guests in the discussion, letting them add their viewpoints to a broader conversation, it turns into a full-blown interrogation session. Why? Why the sudden shift? What’s the point of inviting guests if you’re just going to grill them about their personal lives instead of making them part of an actual discussion?
