I'm not sure if to switch

Been playing fortnite for every since chapter 4 on controller I never got hang of the building mechanics but going into the new szn I wanted to try to learn the part of the game.But I'm not sure if I should continue on controller or try kbm as I've heard its better for building. Thoughts?
