Is making a friend in forsaken teaming now?

So yesterday I was playing as elliot and found a guest that said to heal me so I did and they said thx After that we were the final 2 and he said that he would get the killers attention and let me run [Keep in mind even when we were killers we still killed eachother] and we got bored so we synced emotes in the lobby then he says want to be friends and I say yes but 2 matches later somebody says "im going to target you both you dumb teamers" And we got targeted but still survived like 20 rounds I might also include they kept telling other killers to kill me first which I don't get at all btw I was playing as elliot for 2 matches and switched to builderman so when they told to kill me I was builderman All I'm rlly asking for you guys is to tell me is making a new friend teaming even if you still kill them as killer?
