I think I like my Doberman puppy better than my Boston terrier ðŸ˜
I got my first Doberman puppy 10 days ago and I’m so in love. She’s so smart and cuddly and sensitive. My Boston is sensitive too but in a different way.
My Doberman loves pets she will lay down and show her tummy and lick me. My Boston isn’t so much into affection. He hates kisses.
He likes to cuddle me but it’s usually on his terms. Like when he wants to sit right on top of me or right under me. The puppy just likes to lean on me or curl into the nook in my arm.
I feel bad because I love my Boston so much. But I’m now examining our relationship and in a way I feel more attached to my cats than him. Isn’t that terrible?! Of course I love him and he’s been my rock for 5.5 years.
I grew up with German shepherds and notice the similarities between the Doberman and GSD. It feels familiar.
I love the Boston terrier as a breed they are amazing dogs! So quirky and crazy. But definitely not the smartest dog out there.
I just have so much respect for my smart little girl dobie.
