I know we're all excited, but please check the evidence before you believe rumors.

The Steam Community thing going around is misleading.

The Internet Archive shows that the trading tab has been on the community page since at least 2021.

Steam automatically archives posts in the trading tab after two weeks -- and since Deltarune has nothing to trade, it's unsurprising it was blank until someone noticed it and made a troll post.

There has also been a lot of misleading hype around Undertale being on sale. Undertale has been part of the seasonal Steam sales for many years now and the March 20th ending date is when the sale itself ends across Steam.

Deltarune's announcement is very close, we know this from Toby Fox's Bluesky posts. It's easy to get caught up in the hype. But it's worth checking these claims before believing them & spreading them further. This has been your PSA.

Edit: Just adding one more thing since I saw it referenced in one of the top posts in the sub.

The changes to the Steam page you can see on SteamDB were site-wide, affecting basically all apps on Steam. This is denoted by the line "This changelist affected 148938 other apps." at the bottom of the change.
