Does anyone play through Xbox app and have mods installed? How do you do this?

I just found out that Microsoft is garbage (surprise) and apparently they hide and encrypt all of the files that you BOUGHT, which means I can't access the game folder to put mods in it ://

As per the title, does anyone have a solution?
