Seat Leon FR 2.0 TDI 2013>

I’m looking at getting an FR 2013 and later model. I know they do a 150 & 184 ish. The 184 has independent rear suspension which would be nice. Anyone own one and can vouch for reliability? It will be used for learner drivers so will have a hard life. Is one variant more reliable than the other?
