Does anyone remember Norris McWhirter being challenged? Early 80's?

I'm genuinely convinced that I watched this happen..It was an episode of, presumably, Record Breakers during the segment where the audience of children could ask Norris McWhirter questions about records. A boy asked NMcW a question and then told him that the answer he gave was wrong. He doubled down on this and kept saying that Norris was wrong..

The following episode, Roy Castle said something along the lines of "don't be like this boy".

I'm 49 now, so this would've been early 80's.

Does anyone remember this happening, or it is just something that my mind conjured up?
