[US] What are some real Lawyer use cases for AI/Automation?

Hey everyone, I'm exploring real-life use cases for AI chatbots and automation tools in the legal field. I'm especially interested in how these tools can support lawyers in their day-to-day work—whether it's streamlining tasks, handling client interactions, or managing large volumes of documents.

Originally, I thought litigation lawyers would benefit most due to the sheer amount of documentation they handle, but that angle didn't seem to resonate when I pitched it. So I'm turning to this community:

What specific legal practice areas are already seeing value from AI chatbots or automation? What are some concrete workflows or pain points where you've seen these tools help (or could help)?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s worked with or built tools for lawyers—what worked, what didn’t, and which types of lawyers are most receptive to this kind of tech.

Thank you!
