Does anyone do 500 calories on down day?

I have started ADF after a few years. I lost 40lbs 4 years ago with a high protein diet. Gained it back after an MVA and stopped the gym. I need to get my health in check again. I have 30-40lbs to lose. Started ADF this week.

I will do MWF and do 500 calories on those days. Does anyone see results doing 500? I suffer from migraines and need to do that otherwise I’m a mess. I’m also a vegetarian but I eat eggs. Would love some input. Trying to get my back fixed to get back to the gym. Will do walks in the meantime.
