Will I be disqualified?

Hello everyone,

So I know there’s no way to know for sure if I would be disqualified based on a Reddit post but just looking for a little bit of insight.

I am considering joining the Air Force but there are questions surrounding my criminal record. When I was young I made more mistakes than I can count and have various charges regarding drug/paraphernalia possession and theft. I have no felonies, and most charges were downgraded to misdemeanor or disorderly persons offenses. I have not had anything as much as a seatbelt ticket since 2014 and my record has since been expunged.

Obviously these are things I am not proud of and I have taken every step possible to completely turn my life around and I no longer live that way.

Is it possible to still join with waivers or will I be disqualified? Also, if I am allowed to join pending waivers, will it negatively impact what jobs I would be able to accept with the Air Force?
