the family dynamic with Anna

I'm on season 7 episode 3 and something is really bothering me.

They adopted her after she had spent the first 4 years of her life in an orphanage where they even said she was barely verbal, rarely given one on one attention, so there were communication, behavioral, and attatchment issues that made her emotionally different from an average adoptee.

Neither Trent, nor Amber seem well equipped or smart enough to handle that type of child, but they did it anyway.

They and the other kids seem to have this attitude (kids get it from their parents, of course) that these issues are things she should be over and act normal. As if the past doesn't shape you...but the past has shaped the other kids, and thats acceptable and understood by them.

She doesn't react to punishments, and this was discussed between her and Liz after Liz had her first driving lesson. Trents reaction to emotion with Liz literally proved to everyone why Anna has no reaction. This is learned behavior.

She constantly insults herself, it's come out as self depreciating humor, but you can see with the way she acts that she believes she's stupid.

They take away clothes, driving privileges, phone, tablet, all kinds of punishments, yet can't get Alex to stop acting like an entitled twit even in public.

She's hilarious, but the family thinks she's ridiculous. She's creative, but Liz sells paintings and can present herself with confidence, let's not help Anna by showing her, or boosting morale, let's correct her after her bracelets and bath bombs dont sell, as if she doesn't feel bad enough. She's imaginative, silly, hardworking, and gets called a fool for doing almost anything.

Jonah fails math a second time, gets asked by the college to leave, and its Anna's fault. Because he had to drive her. That's his reason. Trents reaction that it's actually Jonah at fault, I think is on point. One of the very few things I actually think he's right about.

So since Anna is the issue and Jonah has anger, T&A get him in to a therapist? Seriously?

These people have 4 kids and a scapegoat. I know Anna is an adult, but I would adopt her away from this family if I could.

Amber is the main issue here with Anna. She has something against her and im still trying to figure it out. I do know that she exhibits zero understanding towards Anna.

She deserves better. She's not led by them as parents, she's barked at, and she's not given normal companionship by her siblings, she's made fun of.

Jonah can stay home for college, but let's make Anna leave even though she's stated she's not ready. Wth?

I feel so bad for her. She's the one I like the most.
